ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Age Limit:
- Professional Assistant – below 35 years
- Semi Professional Assistant – below 35 years
- Library Assistant – below 30 years
Educational Qualification:
Professional Assistant – Library
- M.Lib.Sc./ M. L.I.Sc/ PG Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce
Candidates should complete their master degree in M.Lib.Sc./ M. L.I.Sc with minimum 50% of marks from a recognized Institute
Or
Applicants should complete their Master degree in commerce/ Arts/ Science with minimum 50% of marks from a recognized Institute.
Candidates must have a certificate course of computer from a recognized Institution.
Semi – Professional Assistant – Library
- B.Lib.Sc./ B.L.I.Sc.
Candidates should complete B.Lib.Sc./ B.L.I.Sc. degree with 50% of marks.
Applicants should complete their degree in Arts/Science/ Commerce or any other discipline with 50% of marks.
Candidates must have a certificate course of computer from a recognized Institution.
Library Assistant – Library
- Senior Secondary
Candidates should complete their senior secondary or equivalent from a recognized Board.
The candidates must have a certificate in Library Science/ Library and Information Science from a recognized Institution.
The applicants should have a good knowledge of computer applications.
Selection Process:
- Written Test
- Practical Test
- Skill Test
The selection will be based on these process.
Pay Scale:
- Professional Assistant – Rs.9300 – 34800
- Semi Professional Assistant – Rs.5200 – 20200
- Library Assistant – Rs.5200 – 20200
