Educational Qualification:

  • UG

Candidates should complete their B.Sc. Agriculture or B.Sc. in Botany from a recognized Institute with relevant experience or

Applicants should complete VHSC in Agriculture from a recognized Institute with minimum 5 years of experience

Selection Process:

  • Written Test
  • Interview

Candidates can be selected on the basis of above process. At the time of Interview candidates submit all the original certificates for verification process.

Pay Scale:

  • Rs.15000

About Central Plantation Crops Research Institute

The Central Plantation Crops Research Institute was established in the year of 1970. Under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research this institute is one of the best Agriculture Research Institute in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS). The headquarters of this Institute is located in Kerala. The Research Programme is organized by five divisions that are crop production, crop improvement, crop protection and harvest technology. It also holds the International Coconut Gene Bank in Karnataka. This Institute also serves as headquarter of AICRP on palms with 13 centres on coconut, 2 centres on palmyrah and 7 centres on oil palm. Kerala is the major resourceof coconut growing areas in the country. The average temperature in the Kerala is 31.2 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is 23 degree Celsius. There are three types of soil which is used for experimental purpose they are littoral sandy soil laterite soil and red sandy soil.
