ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Age Limit:

  • Above 21 years

Candidate’s age limit should be above 21years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules.

Educational Qualification:

  • UG

Candidates should complete their UG Degree in Fine/ Commercial Arts from a recognized Institute/University.

  • The applicants should have minimum 1 year of experience in relevant filed from a reputed organization.

Selection Process:

  • Interview

Candidates can be selected on the basis of above process.

Pay Scale:

  • Rs.5200 – 20200

About Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum

The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum was established in the year of 1962. This museum is located in Bangalore. In each year there are more than 1million plus visitors are visits this museum. This museum is a constituent unit of National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture. It is undertaken by the Government of India. The modest building is built up area of 4000 sq. Meters. This was constructed in the screen surrounding of the Cubbon Park. The first gallery set up at VITM on the theme Electricity and it was opened in the year of 1965. This Institute was established by all India manufactures organization Mysore State Board. This Institute came to be registry as a nodal agency from a various Industrial houses. In the year of 1970, it launched the Mobile Science Exhibition with 24 participatory. In the year of 1978, the science museums or centres including this Institute were delinked from CSIR. This Institute is registered in the year of 1978 as National Council of Science and Museums.
