ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Age Limit:

  • Below 35 years

Candidate’s age limit should be below 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years and for OBC candidates the relaxation is up to 3 years.

Educational Qualification:

Senior Research Fellow

  • B.Sc.

Candidates should complete their Master degree in the field in the discipline of Zoology or Entomology with specialization in Entomology or

Applicants should complete their M.Sc. degree in Life Science from a recognized Institute

Candidates have Master Degree in Basic Science in relevant field with 3 years in Bachelor Degree and should have NET qualification.

Applicants those who have experience in Biosystematics/ Biodiversity studies/ Bioinformatics will be added advantage.

Selection Process:

  • Interview

The selection will be based on above process. During Personal Interview candidates submit all the original certificates for verification process.

Pay Scale:

  • Rs.25000

About Indian Agriculture Research Institute

The Indian Agriculture Research Institute was established in the year of 1905. The Headquarters of this organization is located in Delhi. This Institute is commonly known as Pusa Institute. This Institute is a premier national Institute for Agriculture research, education and extension. In the year of 1911 the name changed to Imperial Institute of Agricultural Research. During in the year of 1934 the Institute was damaged due to Bihar Earthquake. After that the union assembly finally announced to shift the Institute to New Delhi.
