Candidate’s age limit should be above 18 years to below 33 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules.
- SSC with NCVT certificate
Candidates should complete their SSC from a recognized Institute. Along with applicants must their trade in welder/ Painter/ Electrician/ Mechanic / Fitter from a recognized Institute.
The applicants should have minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field from a reputed organization.
The selection will be based on above process.

About Mazagon Dock Limited
The Mazagon Dock Limited was founded in the year of 1934. The headquarters of this organization is located in Mumbai. This company is the India’s prime shipyard. The major manufacturing vehicles are submarines, warship for the Indian Navy and offshore platforms and associated support vessels for offshore oil drilling. The other manufacturing items like tankers, passenger ship, and cargo bulk carriers. Ownership of the yards passed through various entities including the peninsular and oriental steam Navigation Companyand the British India stream Navigation Company. In the year of 1934 the Mazagon Dock Limited was registered. After in the year of 1960 this shipyard was nationalised. Now this undertaking by the public sector of the Government of India.
Mazagon Dock Limited builds offshore drilling platforms. It operates in Mumbai and the yard for the construction of platforms with wellhead, water injection and production separator and glycol process. For repair and maintenance of offshore the rigs are also undertaken at Alcok. The yard also builds specialist vessels with capability to clean oil spills and fifth fires on offshore drilling platforms.
