Age Limit:

  • 18-27 years

Candidate’s age limit should be 18-27 years. The age relaxation for SC/ST candidates in 5 years, for OBC candidates the relaxation is up to 3 years and for PH candidates the relaxation is up to 10 years.

Educational Qualification:

  • 10th
  • ITI

The candidates should complete their 10th standard from a recognized Institute. Also complete ITI pass certificate in a relevant trade from a recognized Institute.

Selection Process:

  • Written Test
  • Interview

Candidates can be selected on the basis of above process. Ex-serviceman those who are done various courses from armed forces are certified by competent Authority are eligible to apply the examination.

Pay Scale:

  • Rs.5200 – 20200

About Military Engineer Services

The Military Engineer Services is one of the Pillars of corps of Engineers of the Indian Army. This organization provides rear line engineering support to the Armed Forces. This Military Engineer Services is one of the largest construction and maintenance in India. With the total annual budget to the turn of Rs.9000 crores. To support the various formalities of Army like Navy, Army, Air Force and DRDO it has a large number of units and sub units spread across the country. While the construction works is done through contracts are as well as departmentally employed labour.

This organization is responsible for the construction and maintenance, design of all buildings, dock installations, airfields along with accessory services such as bulk water and electricity services, military roads, refrigeration and furniture, drainage are required by the Air force , Navy and Army in India.
