Age Limit:

Candidate’s age limit should be below 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc. with MBA
  • M.Sc.

Candidates should complete their M.Sc. Degree in the field of Botany/ Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Entomology/ Plant Molecular Biology with minimum 55% of marks from a recognized Institute or

Candidates should complete their 1st class B.Sc. Degree in science with MBA in Agribusiness from a recognized Institute.

Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in plant survey and collection or

MBA with one year experience in agribusiness from a reputed organization.

Selection Process:

  • Written Test or
  • Personal Interview

Candidates can be selected on the basis of above process.

Pay Scale:

  • Rs.14000

About Institute of Himalayan Bio Resource Technology

The Institute of Himalayan Bio Resource Technology was established in the year of 1984. This organization is a constituent laboratory of council of scientific and Industrial Research. The premier Institute is located in Kangra, Palampur district of Himachal Pradesh. This Institute id engaged in various advanced research aspects of Himalayan Bio-Resources and Modern Biology. The Ph.D. program in Chemical and Biological sciences is also imparting in this Institute. The Himalayan Institute has the state of the art lab for carrying out studies. It includes RSII third generation Sequencing system, Illumina geometrics Analyser. Also with studies has been initiated in the area of Nano biology by this the Infrastructure is being strengthened by installing multimode scanning probe, transmission electron microscope, atomic force etc.
