Candidates should complete their Diploma/ Degree in Textile Manufacture/ Technology from a recognized Institute or
Applicants should complete their Diploma in Handloom Technology with second class from an Indian Institute of Handloom Technology.
Candidates should have minimum 2 years of experience in production of Textiles from a reputed organization.

About Ministry of Textiles
The Ministry of textile was established under the act of parliament in the year of 1963. This organization is a statutory under the Government of India. It is engaged in various activities for promotion of quality in textile industry. Under this textile testing services, consultancy on implementation of quality management, market research studies. The headquarters of this committee is located in Mumbai and addition there are over 29 offices in the country. This committee is responsible for the formulation of policy, development, export promotion, planning development and regulation of the textile industry in India. It includes all natural and artificial fibres that go into the making of textiles, clothing and handicrafts. The main functions of the committee is Textile policy and coordination, Cotton Textile Industry, Manmade fibre, Silk and Silk Textile Industry, Wool and Woollen Industry, Planning and Economic Analysis.
